Your journal of your trip should help give others tips on how to cope and let them know they don't have to fear trips with Alzheimer's patients. Just realize they're off on an "adventure." My husband and I traveled with my mom and her cat when we had to move her to our home. That was an adventure, and I do have to admit I was glad it wasn't an overnight one nor any longer than 7 hours.
